NetEase Games and Naked Rain released a seven-minute gameplay trailer for Ananta, their upcoming free-to-play urban open-world RPG. The trailer highlights the scope of the city, combat systems, and life simulation features while confirming the game’s strong presence at Tokyo Game Show 2025.

Ananta brings Nova City to life as a vibrant metropolis filled with interactive hotspots. Players can pet cats, engage in street racing, join festivals, or snoop on NPCs’ phones. The world reacts dynamically to choices, creating a city that feels alive every hour of the day.
Combat emphasizes creativity and improvisation. Everyday objects like guitars, trash bins, or golf clubs can be weaponized, while traversal mechanics such as swinging or rooftop chases add cinematic flair. Players can also seize enemy weapons, dodge, and counter for stylish victories.

Beyond combat, players can experience multiple roles such as police officer, hacker, live streamer, or delivery worker. Each role changes gameplay objectives and story interactions, offering different perspectives on life in Nova City.
Exploration is powered by the ultra-free 3C system, enabling fluid character, camera, and control movement across three vertical layers of the city. Subways, cars, helicopters, and even buses can be used for traversal, blending open-world freedom with structured missions.
Pre-registration is now open on the official website, allowing players worldwide to sign up ahead of the expected 2026 launch.
